This heat shielding gasket goes between the intake manifold and the cylinder head, reducing heat transfer between the head and the intake plenum. They are used on many high performance import cars with much success, so we thought the 7M guys should have access to them too! (Only one needed per engine, this replaces the factory gasket between the head and the lower plenum. For 7M-GTE and 7M-GE engines.) This gasket is reusable! Typical results with a heat shielding gasket would be a 17-20 degree (F) drop in intake plenum temp, and a 8-10 degree (F)drop in intake air temp.
